I am tamil living in the UK. I am originally from Cheenai. So Vanakkam fellas. Love to pitch in and help. How can i contribute? ;)

We have amitious plans indeed. Localisation, Customisation, Taking Ubuntu to Education sector..
Creating user manuals in Tamil... Creating Ubuntu Tamil Technical glossary..Guiding Students in projects.. etc.,

hey guys,
Well ican speak and read tamil no problem. I am not good at writing it though. So would love to contribute in any way..in terms of typing or admin of any sort. I am a networks guys. I am into embedded Linux so not an expert level knowledge of Linux of desktop Linux. Anyways i am ready to help

i am also tamil from bangalore and you sure can help me
my mike is not working but speakers are fine during skype, sound card CMI8738 is being sensed urgent as i need to use skype i am but 2 days old to ubuntu
also totem players, rhythm players are not working and i dnnt have real player where from can i get all these plugins
are you using other OS too?
"sounds" like a sound card problem! :-k
if it works with some other OS and not linux then we can go into it.
for plugins etc look for automatix.

3kravinarayan (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=202004), start a new thread for your problem. Check the mixer/volume settings and make sure the mic is enabled. It's best to start your own thread for problems, so people can find your thread and its solution when it arises.

Well yes, proof reading is fine with me. If any of the tamil guys need a personal sort of help setting up ubuntu...i am glad to oblige thru chat as well.

Hai ,
1st i would like to introduce myself.
i am doing MCA
nothing know about translation , but i know a little in programming i am currently concentrating on java... i wish my programs should run in any os that's why i preferred java, especially in ubuntu ... i want to contribute anything to ubuntu....
i don't know where to stay actually i am from village ... so please help me .. i am confused what to do.......................
