Hello,
I've began using Gnucash (wonderful tool to manage your finances, cash, expenses etc.) but I began thinking that those files should be safe.
I know linux is more safe than Win by its own, and if someone doesn't know your pass he cannot get into your files, but, as i use a laptop it could be stolen, lost etc.
So i don't want my gnucash files in bad hands in the unfortunate case.

I first thought to encrypot them with pgp manually, or tu put them in a truecrypt partition, but I'm a bit lazy...and searching around I found this written by the Gentoo folks :D :D :D

Encrypt Gnucash files (http://gentoo-wiki.com/TIP_Encrypted_GNUCash)

Now, I've yet to test it, because I'm not yet very good with pgp or scripts, but maybe it's useful to someone.

Let me know if you are good at scripting, what do you think about.
