Can't copy/paste from Synaptic's window

I had a bad experience with Synaptic the other day. I tried to install Hylafax in Dapper. I received a number of messages that I needed to review to find where the problems are. I could not cut and paste from the "Changes Applied" window. I did save screen shot, but can't go to the Forums to post the info in those windows. Almost everywhere else I can cut & paste data from one area to another. Can someone reading this pass this along to the programmers? I would do that myself, but haven't a clue as to where that should go. Thanks.
