The name is an acronym and stands for Regional Heaquarters of Fire Brigade in Bratislava.

Let the tournament begin!

This is probably the worst website http://www.angelfire.com/ar2/Cees/Heaven.html

The justification for it being the worst website can be found here http://www.porkjerky.com/rip/rip61b.htm

Oh and to witness the true beauty of the first website, you need to disable adblock.

microsoft.com is actually a terrible website to navigate. The search function is almost impossible to find something with, and pages keep changing

The site looks ok, but I've had to help out a few people with asus laptops, and the d/l speed for drivers + firmware are @ dialup speeds - even if you have a 24Meg ADSL 2 line!

Nice, very nice. Reading your post made me think "what I was thinking when I tried to made a design for my own page like that?". Though I'm not very familiar with html or web design, that site (among with FSF's and WildTangent's (http://www.w1ldt4ng3nt.net/)) are ones that I like best. They have simplicity and finding what you need seems very easy for me.

Quite a nasty one without adblock. Made worse still since it's one of the first introductions to linux I had. It's top of the ranks for a google search for 'linux' too.

TWO questions.

How on earth do people even think of looking for this kind of stuff on the net? Let alone, who even thinks about making a web site for it? Common!

Yes, MySpace is a bad website machine. Everything that was hideous about amateur HTML ten years ago is still flourishing there: Blindingly ghastly backgrounds (animated, perhaps), kitschy pictures, mismatched colors, play-on-load music, things that flash and move, epic bad taste and poke-in-the-eye ugliness. And that's before you even try to read the subliterate copy about the site's nitwit perpetrator.

And yep, Linux sites for some mysterious reason tend to be the same way, only geekier: Six frames with exposed scrollbars (my favorite!), dogs-dinner layout, inane graphics...like they haven't been updated since Clinton's first term.

Still, there may be something there, hopeless as it is. I can't tell you how many people (including many here!) have links to their sites in their profiles, but there's nothing but a shell "under construction" site attached to the link, with little or no content -- and they stay that way forever. Why even bother?

In order to fully appreciate the sheer horribility of the site, you have to view it in IE. I think the use of IE can be pardoned now, coz we're looking for *worst* results. Have you people tried clicking on that "Enter" link (in IE)?

BTW, thanks for all the posts and i hope even more will come.
