Can anybody recommend a good graphical front-end tool for mysql that is available in the repos?

Thanks,

what about mysql-navigator or phpmyadmin?
phpmyadmin is webbased, so you'd need a web server + php
mysql-navigator is a gtk frontend i think

mysqladmin is a good one - I like phpmyadmin better though...

Thanks for the advice so far. I think I would like to use phpmyadmin as this is used as many hosting companies online db tool.

I have used synaptic to install phpmyadmin, php5 and mysql. I have heard that phpmyadmin does not work from the repos with php5.

Does anybody know of a good guide of how to set up phpmyadmin with php5?

thanks again,

DAZ
