is anyone using maya(a 3d app) in fedora core?

do i need to do anything to adjust fedora to use maya?

Well, I may be going out on a limb here, but wouldn't it make more sense to ask this in a Fedora forum? ;)
I'd guess most people are here because they're using Ubuntu (but again, that's just a wild guess).

I have heard of people talk about maya when using fedora so I would think so. Why wouldn't it?

Maya works fine in Fedora, nothing needs to be adjusted other than installing you graphics card drivers. Just install the RPMs and your good to go :)

This was in FC5, I haven't tried it in 6 but I guess it should work just fine.

Seen as Fedora is a mainline distro and pretty important since it forms the next RHEL release I would expect so :)
