View Full Version : Ubuntu Website - Too much blank space?

Personally, I feel there is too much blank space at the bottom of the Ubuntu website. This is caused by "Ubuntu News" going down the side and causing there to be a lot of un used space at the bottom, nearly enough to fill up a full sized browser window.

I just want to know if anyone else agrees with me here, and if there should be a change.

If you don't understand what I mean, look at the attachment. If you still don't understand what I mean after looking at the attachment, well, don't worry about it.

you could file a bug report on that (or search if it exists).

Here to file bug: https://launchpad.net/products/ubuntu-website/+filebug
And here to check if it is filed (do this one first): https://launchpad.net/products/ubuntu-website/+bugs

Actually, no. He is right. And, (un)fortunately, the first impressions about a distro come out of the distro's website. And yes, websites matter a lot. There is a 10-page thread about linux.org ruining Linux's image, as an example of the attention that users pay to the design of them.

I don't think it really matters too much, but it would be cool if they neaten it up a bit...
