Hello everyone,

I am doing a IT studie and got the assignment to hold a presentation about a subject of own choice.

I am thinking about using Ubuntu.

Could you people give me some website's with info?
Some things i am looking for are:
- Release dates and names
- Some screenshots from older versions.
- Why choose for ubuntu.

I suppose I use Ubuntu over Debian (Which it is based on), becuase the updates are a lot more frequent with a 6month release cycle. Where as Debian you have to wait years!
