I've been using a 2-d plotting program: xmgr under RedHat 8.0 for years now and was looking to move to a more modern Linux version. Ubuntu came highly recommended. However, I'm unable to apt-get any version of xmgrace. Any way to get any similar program without compiling by hand?

Just make sure you have the Universe repository enabled (check out https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu if you don't know how) and install grace. xmgrace is now a part of grace and you can start it either way.

I need a 64 bit xmgr file (.rpm or .deb or source file) (not xmgrace). Can any one tell me from where I can get it.
