my new web experiment, social polling :)

I figured I'd take the opportunity to plug my new website, which was completely developed in Ubuntu :), It's a Ruby on Rails app for those who are curious...

It's hard to explain what it is, but so obvious what it is once you get there.

It doesn't work correctly (yet) in IE6 and below, but I have a feeling few people here are using that browser :)

Oh you can't offend me. This site is an experiment more than anything. I'm trying some things I've never done before and some things I'm not sure anyone has done before.

But what do you mean by a spam lead sites? Can you give me an example?

Well some SPAM i receive. I tried to check on the link with it just for fun and most of them are screaming advertisement in my face. Maybe your font is just too big for me. :D

I like the idea, but the web site looks like a spam site, you really need to work on the design.

Ok, I'm not sold on the design. But a real redesign will have to wait till this weekend most likely.

I did pull back the boldness of the questions, they don't pop at you as much now, it's a small improvement.

Actually what I meant is if you use the stumbleupon firefox extension (and if you use firefox, you really should be using this extension, it's GREAT!) then could you give me a stumbleupon thums up so more people will stumble to my site.

Yeah, get stumbleupon, not just to plug my site but because it's such a great tool.

I redid the site. Mostly just a color scheme change, but I also streamlined the interface more. I think it looks a lot better. Still look like a spam site? :)

Scrolling works a bit weirdly for me in Firefox, though.
Probably something to do with the Javascript.

Yeah postsecret was an inspiration for my site. I actually considered calling my site "pollsecret", but I didn't want to step on postsecrets toes.
