View Full Version : What does everyone think of this machine?

I'm looking into buying this when my wages come in around the 25th of November. Bear in mind I haven't chosen this computer specifically for running Linux. I'm sticking an Nvidia 6800 Ultra in there if I can get it.

It looks like a good computer;
You know it has no CPU in it?
Buy an AMD proc for it - 64 bit.
And yes, get an Nvidia GPU board. Linux should Just Work on that.

Not bad, RAM is low and the PSU seems a bit wimpy for the setup.

good CPU comes with two-year-old rams... a cheap price that you can buy without waiting for your paycheck
