Actually, I mean the next one AFTER that... future names must be in the works, don't you think?

I am not sure whether G-G will actually be used as there is already a ubuntu release called something like Grumpy Groundhog or something which is a developer dump or something and should never be used. And as H-H has also been used the next one would be Imperial Iguana or something...

EDIT: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DevelopmentCodeNames

^^ That's very true, there's already a grumpy groundhog.

There is going to be no G OR H. H was used in 5.04, for Hoary Hedgehog, and G was used for Grumpy Groundhog, the development testing repository.
So the next after Feisty Fawn will almost certainly begin with I, and Mark has no plans to move away from the current "characteristic-animal" set-up.

Apparently there is some discussion going on:

Al least, for outgoing communication. But hey, that doesn't stop us, 'the people in the know', to call it by its pet name ;-).

So we go with I.
It shouldnt be an LTS, so I'm guessing
Irritable Iguana

If it were G, I really like Gyrating Grasshopper.

are Ubuntu release names officially going to be alphabetical from now on? or are we just assuming because of Dapper -- Edgy -- Feisty?
