Hi

As long as I used Linux I never found a clipboard manager for the
gnome desktop suitable for me.
So I wrote my own and maybe other people will find it useful too.
I have no webspace available at the moment so I attached it to the thread (110kb).

What distinguish it from other clipboard managers like klipper i.e. is
the ability to preview random content (at the time text and images) and
to construct clipboard content from input.
When you copy i.e. a image-file the application recognizes it as an image
and previews it. You can then paste this image into gimp with the usual
Ctrl+V (This also works for weblinks through Gnome VFS).
The other way round is also possible.
Copy a image in gimp and press in nautilus Ctrl+V gives you a image.png
with the previously copied image.

It also includes a screenshot-taking application which can take screenshots
of windows, sub-windows, manually selected regions and the whole desktop.

I have up to now only tested it on my own machine and in vmware so please
tell me if it doesnt work on your machine.
It should work fine in dapper and edgy but not in former versions due to the
older version of gtk.
