Emotive - Metacity

I use flux most of the time on gentoo and a lot of people seem to enjoy my themes so I thought I would port one of my themes over to metacity...feedback is appreciated...

hmm, it could use a little more life, "not to be rude" but adding more color, little bit of some GUI, and a Gnome foot on the left of Applications.

If I were to request it would be for black, with white lettering on the taskbar and window control/border also GUI effects to the menu drop down in the taskbar and the button borders to be GUI GTK2.

Where's the server by the way, I could use some water ;) j/k hope to see some good modifications to this as it will bring more to the eye of the users attention if doing so.

Well actually the only thing I did was the window border itself(metacity) the gtk2 style is Industrial-Charcoal from art.gnome.org ;-)

I really like this metacity theme, in fact, it is nearly the one I've always searched for ;) I love themes with 1 pixel borders and I don't see a reason to give away desk space for rounded corners or fancy borders.

One thing that could be improved are the color settings for inactive windows. Right now, the difference between active and inactive is only a slightly brighter font, which is hardly noticeable. With different smaller windows open, I need a little moment to find the active one :-?

Keep that work up, I'm looking forward to more color variants!

I love themes with 1 pixel borders and I don't see a reason to give away desk space for rounded corners or fancy borders.because if you usually have a lot of windows open and do a lot of window moving/resizing, you don't want to spend 5 seconds trying to grab a 1 pixel border. You just want to move, grab, and go. They look great, but are not useable.
