text editor with the "je ne sais quoi"

Hi!

I know, there are plenty of them out there, but I look for something special:
The Eclipse IDE has a great function: with <alt>+<up> resp. <alt>+<down> you can move lines.
What I am looking for is a minimalistic editor (a la mousepad/gedit) with such a function.
Do you know of any existing? And if not, can you suggest one (ideally written in Java)?
