I am thinking of getting a new computer case... but I never have brought one myself, and am wondering what some of the jargons mean.

For example, I was reading this review: http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/virgo and here's the things that I do not understand:

- 10 Drive bays
- 4 x external 5.25"
- 2 x external 3.5"
- 4 x internal 3.5"
- Hidden drive bays

What's 5.25 and 3.5 for???

Thanks.

5.25" means 5 and a quarter inch the same size as the old floppy discs or cd rom drives.

3.5" means 3 and a half inch. the same size as a hard drive, newer floppy disc or internal card reader device.

And internal would be for hard drives since you have no need to "access" them from outside the case. External bays would be for cd drives , floppy drives, card readers, and even removable hard drives.
