View Full Version : Looking for IDE/Markup App for Perl on Ubuntu

Thank you for offering any information. I do a lot of perl dev, and I am really starting to lean on ubuntu more and more, and was hoping that someone here might have some advice or know of a nice IDE/Perl editor that will do markup/function deliniation etc.

I would recommend something like vim or emacs. Maybe there is a plugin for eclipse to program Perl.

I know there's an eclipse plugin that lets you use vim as your editor... honestly, I use vim or emacs. You learn the most when you're closest to the bone.

I do not know of a *real* Perl IDE. Maybe there wasn't the need for it until now. You could write one ;)
