I hope that never happens lol. I'm pretty sure they could afford it but I doubt the Mozilla people or the ff comunity would want to let it happen easily.

I dunno why it says Windows MS-FF will shutdown on Yahoo.com thought. Don't they have some sort of co-operation agreement?

I liked the adobe thing... I'm surprise msn hasn't already tried to make its own flash. Maybe they have and I just don't know about it.

How low can you go?
That site is just moronic evidence that the whole spread firefox **** by Mozilla (yeah, I know that the site has nothing to do with Mozilla) has gone too far.

And the most sad part is: that site isn't even funny.

Firefox 2007's new TakeOver(TM) technology protects the Windows Kernel by automatically recognizing all McAfee and Symantec programs as viruses. Downloading has never been safer.
^^ i dunno, this is a pretty damn good idea, both those firewalls suck almost as much as no firewall (maybe even more ?)
:D

I wonder if they had to agree to a very restrictive EULA saying they didn't actually own the cake and MS could take it back at any time before they could cut it?

yes, the IE team did send mozilla a cake congratulating them on releasing firefox 2.0. It makes me remember that even though i may hate microsoft as a company, the people working there are just regular people trying to make a living. They all cant be bad.

Since Internet Explorer7 is a rip-off from Firefox, you can say that "IE7=MS Firefox" 8)

Did you guys noticed that it downloads IE7 from Microsoft when you click on the "go" button? :D:D

What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Sex. Microsoft's patented RSS technology is a way for Microsoft Firefox's inbuilt renderer to dynamically recognize and distinguish anything that resembles a tit or a boob. RSS will then utilize its algorithmic web caching features to download those images at the speed of light. Pornography has never been faster, easier or simpler. How to enable RSS:

1. The site you're visiting must offer pornography. Microsoft Firefox will notify you of any explicit images it detects by illuminating (in red or orange) the RSS button on your toolbar.
2. Click the red/orange "Sex" button to see a list of images that can be downloaded using RSS. Download them by clicking "Simple Sex me Automatically" in the upper part of the screen.
3. Microsoft Firefox will now dynamically monitor all webpages, and enables it's protected algorithms to speed up the rendering of all explicit but fun images. By default, all downloaded and enjoyable content maybe found in the Sex section of your Favorites Toolbar each time you open Microsoft Firefox.

Note: RSS is smart enough recognize and disregard irrelevant objects such as balloons, basketballs, soccer balls or two elephants standing next to one another. That is the power of Microsoft Real Simple Sex.

Very amusing site. Any other parody sites of M$ software anywhere?

yabbadabbadont
November 15th, 2006, 02:48 PM
That is quite amusing.

Course, MS doesn't need to buy Firefox since they can simply fork it. As long as they distribute the source, any changes they make, and don't use the official branding, there isn't anything to keep them from doing so.

And what do you guys think if Microsoft really bought Mozilla??? Even if it's impossible (I think)...

What would happen if aliens from the world Phion came to earth and bombed the world then went back to Phion and tell their King about how great the pyramids are and that they left them intact then come back to Earth to take the pyramids to their world, and the King's daughter had hid in one of the ships and then she ran away to the Amazons married a yellow frog from Earth secretly, lived a great life with 2 children one who became a lawyer and another one who became a Janitor?

Mozilla wouldn't sell themselves to MS, and if we assume they did then we might as well assume Mozilla never created Firefox, wasn't a nonprofit foundation, and the result of the purchase would be - no one would have cared about it.
