Do you think it is better for users experiencing trouble to seek help in these forums or the Automatix forums?

It is better if you seek help on the Automatix forums. You can also log onto irc freenode.net #Automatix for support.

That would depend on the kind of trouble being experienced. However, we will more than happy to direct new users to the correct place for resolving the issue in question.
