K-Ninja is a minimalistic browser (even more minimalist than K-Meleon- http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/) based on the seamonkey engine, just like Firefox. It has lots of features, including built in mouse gestures, ad blocking, and tabs. It's much faster than Firefox or even Opera, especially on older computer lacking ram or processing power, and I feel it would be much more appropriate for such systems than these two browsers, or even light-weight ones such as Epiphany, but offers full browsing and page rendering functionality.
The only things I don't like about it is that it could use some polish, and in an attempt to reduce the size, there are some hotkeys that do things you don't want them to do (eg alt+enter does something strange), and you might have to play around with the config files to get it just the way you like.
Unfortunately, it's windows only, and when I asked the author to make a linux version, he told me that it would take too much effort, and that this is a project he does in his spare time. However, he told me that anyone would be more than welcome to try and port it, you just have to contact him for the source code. In the meantime, however, he posted a link that would be *useable* under wine, although things like tabs may not work. However, the speed is almost the same, and you can feel that it's much faster than firefox.
So if anyone is interested in trying this browser out or even try to port it to Linux, here's the website:
http://geocities.com/grenleef
And for the wine link use this (the one on the website is very slow):
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BE1ZOLWT
Also, if anyone wants to put this on their USB drive like I did, the forums have instructions to make this possible.
