I seem to remember dumping 640x480 back in 1993 when I upgraded to a 486 with 800x600 vlb and 512K graphics memory... and 4MB RAM... oh the power... and PGA Tour 486 was fantastic... so was Sim City 2000 on it... that machine cost me an arm and a leg... £1500 back then was a lot of money...

We actually have one of those at work. The thing looks cool but really sucks in reality. .2 seconds after putting it on you start going crosseyed and your head starts to hurt . That is just for a normal text/desktop display though. I haven't gotten to try quake on it yet. :grin:
