It seems the audio sync isn't gone yet but it's better because it doesn't get worse.

Can you all play Curveball http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/curveball.php and check if the sound effects are in sync with the animation? If it is then, it's my configuration's problem.

What kind of computer do you have, my older computer has sync problems sometimes

It's an Athlon XP 1800+. So it shouldn't have problems running flash because it's fine in Windows.

ok, that isn't the problem then, I'm out of idea

Man... which configuration files will likely affect it so that I can paste it here? Btw, I'm under edgy.

I got up to level 6. Perfect A/V sync all the way.

Try reinstalling the beta flash again. I find that each time i close my browser, i have to reinstall flash because it reverts back to the old one somehow.

i was just about to ask about sound syncing for flash 9 with this google video. can someone with v.9 try it out, please?

i still have v.7, but i'll upgrade if it works ok with this. for me it works to start with then slowly goes out of sync.

edit. this is a better link to test for sound syncing. -

Yup, removed the old one, and when I right click, it says "About Adobe Flash Player 9"

thanks, i think i'll install it then. i've installed 100s of things without breaking anything, but i have a feeling it's not going to work for me somehow :|

it'll be fine, it's super simple. no installation involved. just copy and paste, restart *fox, and you're done. just make sure you copy and paste to the right place
