Rock clubs in Boston?

I'm traveling to Boston from Norway the coming weekend (for this conference : http://www.tacd.org/docs/?id=304 ) and would like to know if anybody can recommend any good rock clubs or gigs the coming weekend.

The only promising venue I've been able to find online is the Paradise : http://www.thedise.com/rockclub/index.html

Any tips are highly appreciated!

The really big rock club here is:

The Middle East. (http://www.mideastclub.com/)

That's where everyone goes: the downstairs gets headliners, upstairs gets a nightly bill of three local, but good, bands.

I drove up to Boston to see the Minibosses and the Eagles of Death Metal at the Middle East, very fun venue!
