Hi all,

My wife is a High School Biology teacher and outside of the base offerings of Edubuntu, are there any programs that you know of that would be useful for a biology / life sciences class?

She isn't that familiar with Linux or OSS, but if there is anything that will benefit the school and class, I'm sure both the school and her would consider it.

Thanks in advance!

This is more aimed at the research community but you might find something useful. There are free viewers for displaying protein structures and the like. A good 3D multicoloured molecular structure can be a good visual aid
