i would have thought by now some one would have mentioned back|track for a slax (live cd slackware) distro. all sorts of fun tools (nmap metasploit to name 2) all ready setup and can turn any computer into a fuly functional pen testers paradise in about 3 min. its what i have on my laptop as a hdd install (one for the tools, 2 because its slackware and i got tired of ubuntu, and 3 because i had it laying around.) its a great way to get to know slackware with out the commitment and then also its a great way to learn linux. well im off to upgrade my kernal to 2.6.18.

O.K. so i hear that back|track is all that, but I want to dual-boot with Ubuntu and back|track, but how. I was going to use P.H.L.A.K., but no one has been working on keepin it current, it used to be great, but it has been abandoned. So! does anyone know how I would go about installing a slackware derivative(back|track) on the other partition of my hdd. I have no means of cd or floppy boot. I can use a cd drive, but not boot from it. please help.
