Hi,

it would be nice, to make more different subforums icons, to differ easier, if a subforum has new posts.

At the moment there is this icon for a subforum with unread posts:
http://ubuntuforums.org/images/statusicon/subforum_new.gif

And this icon for a subforum with no new posts:
http://ubuntuforums.org/images/statusicon/subforum_old.gif

That's odd. When I open the subforum title pages (e.g. http://www.ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=125 )

http://ubuntuforums.org/images/statusicon/forum_new.gifThis is what I see when there unread posts.

http://ubuntuforums.org/images/statusicon/forum_old.gifAnd this is what I see when all posts are read.

Wait. Are you talking about on the main page? Hmm. We will have to let ubuntu-geek decide about changing the little icons in the small lists, but using the big ones would make everything look cluttered and we're trying to unclutter stuff right now.

EDIT: The attached might look good for subforums with read messages.

Yes, I meant the little icons on the main page. And your attached icon would be fine. :)

Hmm interesting indeed. I think I know the cause as to why this isnt working and I'll take a look a little later today. Thanks for pointing it out.
