How do you use Ubuntu? Is it your main OS? Do you use *******? I don't like "Other - Please specify" options. If you don't fit a category perfectley, select the option whihc bests describes you and explain.

I selected "I dual boot with Ubuntu and another distro, which is is my main OS."
I have on this machine Windows XP SP2 Professional, Ubuntu Linux and Arch Linux. Arch Linux is my primary OS, but I sometimes play with Ubuntu. :p
Windows XP I use for gaming.

I use ******* and Ubuntu. ******* is my main OS right now, but once I get a more compatiable wireless card, I'm gonna use Ubuntu as my main OS, so I've selected that. I also have SuSE 10.1 KDE, but I hardly ever use it.

It's my only OS. There were a time when using Linux was a hobby for me, but now I prefer having the computer for doing other stuff. Now I also prefer to keep digging one thing deeper, instead of knowing a lot of stuff superficially.

I have ubuntu, zenwalk and XP in that order of time I spend on it.

In fact the only reason I boot XP once in a month or something is for maintaining my unsupported sony mp3 player and for using the techexplorer plugin in firefox for mathematical test from college online. The Linux version works from ff > 1.6 so it'll work on edgy I hope.

And zenwalk is a nice and fast distro derived from slackware but the packaging system is so limited that I never really used it that much. Though I really like most other aspects from the distro.

Technically, I have a dual boot set up, but since I don't boot into Windows, I checked off Ubuntu as my main OS.

Ubuntu for all daily computing needs.

Windows XP for games that I can't get to run in Linux (currently only F.E.A.R. Multiplayer and Oblivion). I don't have much time for games these days, so I havn't used Windows very much lately.

currently dual boot Ubuntu with a wasted XP install* and about 12GB of free space for a second distro if i ever get unlazy.

* i installed XP and Microsoft Update would download the updates but hang on installing them. so i couldn't install some necessary drivers. after reinstalling it 3 times in one day, i didn't bother doing anything with it after the third install, and now it's beat because it's been well past 30 days without activation. hah!

I have two main computers. One has Ubuntu the other has ******* xp.There are some important programs that only run on *******, eg Designakint, my CAD program connected to my knitting machine, and Internet Scrabble, cos I can't figure out how to configure Ubuntu to get the extra Java I need. Sad, I'd prefer Ubuntu for everything.

I use Ubuntu server installs on all my other machines, even if they aren't servers. I use Arch Linux on my main desktop and will be installing Ubuntu Edgy in a spare partition I reserved.
