batman vs spiderman

After seeing a lot of 'vs' threads lately I thought it would be appropriate to introduce a batman vs spiderman thread (was also considering a pirates vs ninjas thread).

I was going to choose superman as a character but he is a bit too much for me. I mean really, come on, he is faster then a speeding locomotive, has xray vision, can fly, stronger then god knows what. He is just too much.

Anyway Id go with spiderman. He can use his spidyweb to trap batman then beat him up. Though after watching the new batman and finding out that he is actually a ninja I start to wonder if Im wrong.

Your thoughts this matter please.

gimme a break, batman's got a master degree in just about every martial arts and years of experience but without preparing traps and stuff before hand he's got no chance against someone with strength, speed and other physical attributes far beyond human unless he's holding back.

Althought, batman's known to have one of the best plot armors in comics...also in the latest marvel comics spidey went against captain america in straight hand-to-hand combat, who's supposedly batmans equal, and spidey got his *** handed to him

When it comes to the movies, Batman has only had one really good one "Batman Begins" which edgy and dirty.. Christian Bale was amazing as Batman. Both Spider-man movies (and it's spider-man not spiderman.. what kind of fans are you?) were decent I enjoyed them and the things they changed were largely good (web being organic good.. Mary Jane being his lifelong love REALLY BAD)

When it comes to the comicbooks I would take Spider-man over Batman any day better storylines and more interesting villians but Batman makes a better movie (at least in the latest edition.. let's all just repress the earlier attempts).

I'd take spiderman. I liked all the movies of Spidey and Batman. Batman was cool, but no spideysense, no spidey strength, and no web?? He'd get his *** kicked!!

hmm my main reason for saying batman would loose is not becuase of his lackof superpowers tthat hasn't stopped him from defating villans before. the problems is where he'ld have the edge (intelligence) he doesn't becuase parker is infact a scientist as well so.. i dunno batman i think your outmatched.
