Google Earth for Linux has been out since June I think.

I am however unable to install Sept 13 update 4.0.2091.0
It keeps giving me the old beta 4 released July 5.

I recently tried automatix out again, to my dissapointment (http://www.getautomatix.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=164) but after a few tries things worked and Google Earth was one of the things it installed and working.

For all those who want to try it, without the install/uninstall-problems caused by *.bin-files. :
You can get and GoogleEarth deb from the ubuntu-PLF repo's.
