Hi. I was wondering, what is the best multimedia convertor for linux?
It would need to be able to convert from/to formats like(but not limited to) ogg,mp3,wav,wma and ogg, avi, mpeg etc.

Perferrably with a graphical ui.

For video I like Avidemux.

I use the build in nautilus script to convert media files.
It uses a really minimalistic GUI that gets the job done.
But that's more of a Gnome solution then a Linux solution.

For audio files:

gnormalize (http://gnormalize.sourceforge.net/)

For audio(with a GUI): Soundconverter

For Video(unfortunately no decent working GUI available):
mencoder:supports nearly every format, unfortunately AFAIK not the free theora format:( .
ffmpeg2theora: Doesn't support every format but converts to theora\\:D/
