I am currently on dapper and I am compiling Gnome 2.16.0 from the cvs repository. Is anyone else on Dapper running the newest version ?

I was toying with the idea, but haven't done so yet. Let us know how it goes (and some screenies would be nice :D )

I am just finishing the build I might write a small tutorial on how to accomplish the upgrade. I'm on module 128/144 so hopefully everything goes well.

What's so special about version 2.16.0? Are there a load of new features or big changes?

I'm on Edgy at the moment and can say one major change is the actual speed, e.g. navigating around menu's, loading up apps.
I personally not noticed much apart from that and it's preceder
