here goes...

I installed and configured 3ddesktop with my nvidia card, which is all working fine. However as it is not automatically starting up and 'acquiring the other desktops', I need a way to automate the following process to run on startup...

- Run terminal

- Run the command "3ddesk"

- Then run the command "3ddesk --acquire=10"

- Then close the terminal window.

I don't want to assign it to a key, i just need it to run at startup.

I've read about and was wondering whether it would be neccesary to create a shell script - though i'm not entirely sure about the syntax.

Can anyone help me out or at least point me in the right direction?

Cheers:)

So how did you do it?

I have tried various methods, (modifying sheel script tutorials)...none of them have worked.

I added you to MSN, in the hope you would be online soon but it seems I'm out of luck.

If you see me on MSN please tell me how you did it!

Thanks in advance!
