There is a limited amount of vendors that will ship Ubuntu pre-installed, but it isn't really easy to find! Can you help adding to this list I prepared?

Thank you very much!

The only one I know for sure does right now is system76, the one you have listed. monolithmc.com used to, and I guess will in the future - there web site says they are "upgrading," but their media center PCs were myth on top of ubuntu. I also recently heard Tvease.net will be releasing media center PCs based running ubuntu in October...

Ubuntu is a great OS, and it's getting better every day. If everything works on it, it's the best OS I've ever used and I love it. But, when things don't work (and a lot of times things aren't always working perfectly) it can be a real hasstle.

I downloaded Ubuntu for free and installed it on my own will, so I accept any of the problems and I actually enjoy fixing them and reporting back to the Ubuntu community and helping others. However, if I shell out X dollars and then get my new computer and have any problems with it, I feel like I just got ripped. Plus I think it's hard for any third party to offer support for the rapid development.

Go Ubuntu,
Kris

Why is Dell not mentioned on that Wiki page?
