hi evrybody
i am new to linux and i have a few issues i am struggling with.
i've paid and downloaded cedega about a mounth ago and still i am unable to play a single game using it. since support seems to be non existant i'm posting this problem here.
the first problem came up when setting up cedega and running the tests in the wizard. 3d acceleration test failed. i'm running ubuntu on ibm t23 lap top with a savage card. when running glxgears i get a 'yes' on direct rendering but only about 490-500 fps.
the second problem came up when trying to run "poker academy demo". upon startup i can see the splash screen but then i get an error message saying 'jvm could not be found' on my system. since i did install java i dont no what else to do about that.
i did see some posts on this forum dealing with enabaling dri on savage cards but they are all for breezy. non for daper. does anyone have any ideas?
thanx
