Hi, in about a week or so, I and my class is going on a trip through Denmark and down to Prague and Berlin. We will have some time off to do whatever we like (except drinking alcoholic beverages:( ), so I'm askin here; any suggestions on what to do?

In Berlin, rent a bike and get yourself lost on the city. The mitte area is simple amazing. You can also get a map and follow the wall (and see the bits left). If you like classical music, go to a concert of the Berliner Philarmoniker (http://www.berliner-philharmoniker.de/en/home/?L=2) .

Prague: get a map with the major sightseeings (they're all pretty close in the city center) and walk around a bit.
Berlin: if you're into history I'd definitely visit the Pergamon museum. Otherwise just walk (or ride) around, Berlin is very unique. I think no other city has left me such a melancholic feeling :) .

Absinthe
the actual stuff they sell here is not the real absinthe (check wikipedia for more info, there is a whole section about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absinthe#Czech.2C_or_Bohemian.2C_absinth). But for sure it tastes awful and gets you under the table in no time.

Seriously, in berlin. Take the S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz, see the Fernsehturm, the red town hall (rotes rathaus), Keep walking down that street in to whats left of the Palast der Republik, the Museums insel, later walk down Unter den Linden and see the Staatsoper, Neue Wache, etc until you reach the brandenburger tor, then decide to go left to the jewish memorial and potsdamer platz or right to the reichstag and the government quarter. Get a guide to read about what youre seeing in this walk. Anyhow, there are great tours leaving from the Mc Donalds in front of the S-Bahn station Zoologischer Garten I dont know the times but they cost 10$ a day and last up to 5 hours. If you cant drink then I would not recommend going on a pub crawl but if youre willing to risk it theire GREAT.
