hello,
since I want to build a new kernel I need to run make menuconfig. I downloaded the kernel source version 2.6.16.18 from www.kernel.org. now when I runn make menuconfig it is giving a lot of errors so much so that it is hard to put them down here.
is the problem with all ubuntu boxes right now?
I am doing this with ubuntu 6.06.01-server and I already have gcc4.0 and make etc installed.
or may be I am missing some thing?
any suggestions?
