I have recently migrated fully to linux (dual booted for years). Something that I noticed in the past and still see is a lack of mirrors for downloading various linux games.
Is there a site some where that does this that I have not seen? For instance, a site that had linux games such as Savage, FreeSpace, Alienarena, Tremulous, etc. as an alternate download to further the spread of the linux gaming genre. I know a lot of people have set up torrents however I have never had good success with them. They either run slow or they run very fast and then my computer drops the connection, reconnects and downloads fast then drops again, over and over again.
What would it take to get something like this going? That is, ofcourse, assuming that such an entity doesn't already exist.
