everyone was helpful, though my communication skills may have been lacking when i replied to them. special thanks to bobunderwood99 who made me realize that i had my head up my a** and hadn't checked to see if my primary drive had died. by the way yes that was the problem, i should have thought of that sooner since my rom is a sata, and the operating system would run directly from my rom, but i'm retarded, thanks for pointing that out. roflmao
