Is 24.04 still set to release this month?

I have been having a hard time moving back to Linux in general. So much has DEVOLVED and so much functionality has been stripped away. Really want a stable platform I can fix/tweak to my liking. Got Debian 12 installed now, but stupid things like my user account not being in sudoers file, despite being in the file and functionality like usermod not being installed and cant find it no where in repositories and OMG.. Anyway. I dont want to go on a rant and get in trouble on the forums. But I am saddened to say the least.

You can view the Ubuntu release schedule for noble or 24.04 anytime, it's a document that is updated where there are changes (you can also view the history of these changes if required).

Release date for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS is 25 April 2024.

Only the beta release date is been recently changed (delayed a week).

FYI: All systems are slightly different, yes Ubuntu defaults to having a created user in the sudoers file, where as Debian doesn't, but a simple edit should fix that.
