A few weeks ago I read about a random password generator. It is an application that uses the command line arguments as parameters in order to produce a quasi-random password that could be "pronounced". There was a website with options to choose - digits, pronouncable, etc. Now I cannot find it. Please, help me find it!

I don't know of any such website :( But Revelation (available in the repositories) is a great little application for generating, as well as storing, passwords.

There is also a built in password manager(in GNOME)
Go to
System->Administration->Users and Groups->click on one of the users[in the User tab]->Click on properties->in the password section click on the Generate Random Passwords->Generate the password and copy that one->use the password in any internet account you want!

Nope, pwsafe isn't what I am searching for. Interestingly, the news was published in Ubuntu blog! Someone wrote an article concerning how we choose the passwords and the most common techniques used by creating a password. At the end of the article there were several links given. The application's name was something like 'apg' or so :(
It seems to be a highly professional programm! One could also interfere the output by inputing random characters etc.

Yup! I think it was 'apg'. Now we need to find the website that offers the online password generation!
Here we are!

It also has an applet you can add to a panel bar. It has a search box that can be used to find a password quickly.
