Has anyone tried the new Parallels Workstation 2.2 beta for Windows and Linux? Their site provides a nifty .deb version of it FREE for download.

Personally I find this great that I can finally try out Parallels, after hearing so much about it.

I have Parallels Desktop for my MacBook and I can say that it's really nice, so I'm assuming that the Windows/Linux version should be just as good.

Well I ran into issues during the install, it appears I don't have a lot of the required material (compilers). Yet I have gcc and etc installed.
Could it be that Ubuntu is not supported all together? It's not on their supported list.. but I expected it to work, as Debian is up there.
