View Full Version : One tv/radio streaming suggestion

Those who are still in a state not to feel too much outraged when i say MS Windows look at these programs

Tvuplayer (http://www.tvunetworks.com/) for streaming tv and Internet radio tuner and recorder (http://www.bleucanard.co.uk/) for radio stations (something where i can identify the country and know it from home unlike shoutcast)

Does anything like that exist in linux world?

We normaly use VLC, does everything I can think of (apart from make good tea, it always puts in too much milk)

I am sorry, i stated the problem in wrong waz. i do not mean streaming the signal, but reciveving it. Yes, i know vLC and i use it as well, but i can't watch cnn using vlc

Yeah, VLC is simple, fast, and will work on my old P1entium 1.

Yeah there is program similar to TVUPlayer available on Linux it's called Sopcast and u can watch there AXN and Discovery for free.
