View Full Version : KDE API doc packages broken?

After installing, removing and reinstalling again and again some packages related to KDE dev documentation I noticed that I have the whole directory structure for KDE api docs but I don't have the very html files anywhere. And no package seem to have them. When I try to search things under KDevelop, it seems to know which HTML file to display but it's unable to find it.

I downloaded myself the whole packed documentation from developer.kde.org and extracted to the aforementioned directory structure (usr/share/doc/KDE/...), which worked and now I can search for KDE classes inside KDevelop when offline.

But that's not clean enough for me, so I'd like to know if I missed some package from the repos or if those packages are really broken.

I struggled with this also. This is an old post but might help somebody. I installed kdelibs4-doc package and was able to view kde api doc within kdevelop. I don't why there is a 4 in the name. The package is for 3.5.5. I am on edgy.
