Hello,
I’m curious about ‘Nautilus desktop’ in Files on 20.04 LTS after upgrading from 16.04 LTS.
288067
The location ‘could not be displayed’.
288068
Is it safe to remove this?
288069
Thanks

Nautilus is the name the Gnome developers call the Gnome file manager (Files). The Desktop is quite literally the Ubuntu desktop. It is treated as if it is a folder coming off of the home folder. If we put links to any folders, files or applications on the desktop then the Files utility will show them in a folder called Desktop.
I have no idea what x-nautilus is. This link will explain it:

It says that you have added the Desktop to your bookmarks. The Gnome developers now call bookmarks - Favourites.

OK, thanks. Ermm ... I'll leave it for now as it isn't doing any harm.
