If I try to play videos on the BBC iPlayer website (or indeed any videos anywhere at bbc.co.uk) using Firefox running on my Raspberry Pi 4 then I get a momentary message saying that there's a missing codec followed by a message that says that the video is unplayable. Any ideas how this can be solved?

BBC is very proprietary about location.... I have the same issue on their site.

Isn't there some kind of special program you need installed to whatch BBC videos? Have you installed anything?

No, I haven't installed anything. I can watch the videos OK from a web browser on an any other computer.

I've tried Chromium and it works so it looks like it's a problem with Firefox.

You may need to enable DRM (Digital Rights Management) in FF. The checkbox is under Preferences/General.
