I am running Ubuntu 20.04

My laptop was running perfectly, but about a day ago refused to connect to the internet (the internet shows up as connected but doesn't work).

Advice please.

Problem fixed - turned out it was because I'd enabled a killswitch on my vpn (which I've since disabled).
