I'm thinking of getting a Crucial X8 portable ssd while there on sale and was wanting to ask someone if these drives work with Ubuntu 20.04?
Here's a link to the drive . https://www.crucial.com/products/ssd/portable-ssds

Think you,

The only problem you might have, is if their firmware updates for the SSD is windows install only. All hard drives and SSDs will work on any OS.

Remember to install GRUB to the USB drive as well, unless this is for a permanent dual boot and you won't be taking the drive out and booting it in other systems. In this case you can install GRUB where you like and tell the BIOS to boot that drive
