I just bought a new laptop with a hybrid system using an SSD-HDD pair of disks. What I want to do is to partition both the SSD and the HDD in half. I then want to install Windows in one partition of the SSD and Ubuntu on the other. However I would like to install programs both on the SSD and the HDD (depending on program requirements), so I want the Ubuntu file system to be able to access one partition of the HDD and the Windows file system to be able to access the other. This is the first hybrid system I use so I am not entirely sure this is even possible. Can someone clear this up for me?
