I upgrade my ubuntu from 18.04 to 20.04.
At first it went well, however after restarting and booting into ubuntu again it became like in attachment.
I need some guide on where to search or read how to fix the... ubuntu bar/gnome desktop ui? I don't know where or what to search so I was hoping maybe there's someone know what to search for in the forum.
Current laptop status:
I am dual booting it with windows 10. The file explorer seems fine though, some apps are also still available. My data are also still intact, I think the problem lies with the... desktop ui stuff (I don't know what its called, should be gnome right? what should I do?)

solved it by reinstalling ubuntu-gnome-desktop package
sudo apt install --reinstall ubuntu-gnome-desktop
