Hello

Due to the covid situation, i am working from home since months. I remote control my Ubuntu workstation (18.04) using xrdp.
I would like to update to 20.04 but I am not sure if it is possible to keep the xrdp protocol open during the update, or if I need to perform it while physically sitted at the computer ?

If someone already did it remotely via xrdp any experience come back will be nice !

Thanks !

Too many things can go wrong in a release upgrade even with the user physically there. So, not recommended. Ubuntu 18.04 has still years of support.

+1 for wait. Bionic is rock solid and still has 2 years of support left

Furthermore, although Ubuntu 20.04 has reached its first point release (20.04.1) Ubuntu developers are not at present offering 18.04 users an upgrade to 20.04.
